E-bicycle
An electric bicycle (e-bike, eBike, etc.) is a motorized bicycle with an integrated electric motor used to assist propulsion.
A dual battery eBike is an electric bicycle equipped with two batteries instead of one. These bikes offer increased range, power, and reliability compared to traditional eBikes. They are ideal for commuters who travel long distances and outdoor enthusiasts who want to take their eBike on extended trips.
There are three basic Class/Types of electric bikes:TYPE 1 E-Bike: Pedal Assist, is an electric bicycle on which you must pedal in order to use the motor.
TYPE 2 E-Bike: Throttle Only, is an e-bike equipped with a motor controlled by a throttle.
TYPE 3 E-Bike: Pedal Assist 28mph.
An electric bike will typically have a motor housed either centrally on the bike (often referred to as a mid-drive motor, powered through the cranks) or on the front or rear hub. Whereas a hub-based motor will push the wheel around directly, an axle-mounted motor will work through the ebike's chain and gears.
The two batteries in a dual battery eBike are usually lithium-ion batteries, known for their high energy density, long life, and low self-discharge rate. Also, the two batteries work together to provide power to the electric motor, which assists the rider while pedaling.
